JOB PURPOSE:
Providing occupational therapy for a designated group of patients, including evaluations, modalities, and treatments. Responsible for the care of patients treated by certified occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in occupational therapy
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
New Graduates of Occupational Therapy program eligible
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current GA License as Occupational Therapist
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS through AHA required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs patient evaluations.
2. Establishes treatment goals.
3. Performs patient treatments.
4. Measures quality and outcomes.
5. Educates patient, family, significant others and other medical personnel.
6. Completes documentation.
7. Communicates with others.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Skill and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in-writing.
Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Skill and ability in Microsoft Office applications.
