Highlights of the Opportunity

  • As a Guthrie Lourdes Medical Director of the Occupational Health Practice, you will play a significant role in providing medical services at an established OHS clinic, which will include DOT physicals, Worker Compensation evaluations and treatments, pre-placement exams, and fit for duty exams
  • The Medical Director will be responsible for the supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) for all clinical services, as well as authorizing RN nursing protocols related to occupational health nursing procedures
  • The Medical Director will review and authorize the standard operating procedures for all OHS contracts and represent the OHS position on health and safety issues with medical staff, as necessary.

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Pennsylvania and New York State physician's medical license
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Occupational Medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work-Life Balance

  • Traditional Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • No inpatient or call responsibilities.
