Summary

Provides direct patient care occupational therapy services. Examines patient's medical history, evaluates their physical abilities, determines their potential to respond to therapy, and develops treatment plans. Educates patients and families in appropriate occupational therapy methods. Supervises Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) and Rehabilitation Technicians in the delivery of occupational therapy services.

Qualifications

Required

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited occupational therapy program.
• Occupational Therapy licensure in the State of Nevada or current interim permit.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred

• MRI experience/training.
• Ortho and Stroke experience is highly preferred.
  
• Experience working with adult/geriatric/general population preferred.
