Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a Occupational Therapy Assistant - Therapy to join our team!

Under general supervision of an occupational therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant carries out treatment plan of patient care for patients predominantly from pediatrics to geriatrics, with an occasional neonate. Updates plan of care in collaboration with occupational therapist.

HOURS: Full Time or 0.80 FTE, 64 hours every 2 weeks

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of occupational therapy standards and practices normally acquired through graduation of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Previous experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant beneficial.
• Current Wisconsin and/or Michigan licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
