TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE THE VERY SPECIFIC 2 YEAR ASSOCIATES DEGREE AS AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in accessing patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies, care to meet goals of Occupational Therapy interventions.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
• Instructs patient/families/caregivers on patient's total occupational therapy program.
• Other occupational therapy duties as assigned per COTA scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Maintain certification through the AOTA (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year experience (preferred)
