POSITON SUMMARY
RAI is seeking an Outpatient Registration Representative who will provide excellent service to patients and referring physicians. This person will process patients efficiently to facilitate a timely workflow. They will also exercise professional judgment in performance of services in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet patients, and register and process related paperwork; process patients into computer system
  • Verify insurance and referral/script information; enter all updated insurance and billing info into RIS
  • Collect co-payments and other payments for services; balance cash and credit card receipts, and prepare bank deposits
  • Cancel/reschedule appointments as necessary
  • Answer phones and take messages, prepare outgoing mail, restock supplies for work area
  • Help to maintain patient satisfaction


DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Previous medical office experience, knowledge of medical terminology
  • Basic computer and data entry experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
