Job Duties

Reporting to the Ombudsman Services Manager, this position is responsible for the coordination of the Grievance Hotline, to include maintaining the Grievance Hotline database. This position will also provide trend analysis to be captured in an annual report.

This is a wage position limited to working no more than 1,500 hours per agency during the 12-month period of May 1 - April 30, regardless of the hire date. The wage employment period resets on May 1 of the following year. All wage employees are limited to working no more than 29 hours per week on average over the 12-month period. This wage position offers no state benefits.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience maintaining confidential information. Experience collecting and interpreting data. Experience analyzing data. Experience producing reports based on data collection. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments within established deadlines and timeframes. Knowledge of computer software programs and experience developing/maintaining data bases.

Good organizational skills. Ability to develop working relationships with staff at all levels of the agency. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.

Additional Considerations

Knowledge of Criminal Justice (as gained through coursework, training, volunteer experiences, internships, work experience, etc.).
