Our Client is looking for an Office Assistant/Accounting Clerk who oversees daily clerical tasks and supports critical daily administrative processes. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in daily administrative tasks, including filing, copying, and organizing documents.
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and redirect phone calls to appropriate personnel.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, incoming and outgoing truck mail, email and phone calls.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- A/R and A/P Back-up
- Enter data into computer systems or databases accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and enter web sales for invoicing, support sales order and invoice entry.
- Organize and maintain files, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval.
- Provide support for various office projects or initiatives as assigned.
- Assist different departments as needed, collaborating with team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional qualifications in Office Administration or Entry Level Accounting are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Prior experience in an office environment is preferred.
