The Endoscopy Technician assumes responsibility for preparation and reprocessing of procedural equipment and supplies for direct patient care services and assists with patient care needs in the office setting. This role will utilize in-depth knowledge of infection control practices, equipment function, testing, and maintenance, and is accountable for monitoring activities to ensure safe and effective service support. This position provides rapid response to customer (nurse/physician/patient/family) needs and requests. This position works in collaboration with the Central Sterile Processing Manager, Lead Office Nurse and Practice Director. This position reports directly to the Manager of Central Sterile Processing.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of SGNA Associates Program certificate with 2 years of hire.
