Job Duties

Position provides clerical and administrative support to Probation and Parole Services staff by keying reports and correspondence from draft, maintaining files, greeting and assisting visitors and callers; and performs keyboarding duties, entering data in agency data systems and fiscal support duties.

Minimum Qualifications

Keyboarding skills, attention to details, ability to research, proofreading ability; dependable; ability to work efficiently in a large office, accuracy essential, ability to meet deadlines. Due to highly confidential nature of work a police record check is conducted on applicants before employment.

Additional Considerations

Experience providing administrative support to include data entry, filing, and other related administrative duties in a professional setting. Recent experience providing customer service in a professional setting. Experience using MS Office applications. Recent experience using all office equipment in addition to computers and the use of multi-line telephones. post-secondary courses in office administration or training or experience in a related field. Experience with case-management database or an automated database other than MS Office. Administrative experience in a criminal justice, court, or law office setting.
