Job Duties

This position provides mid-level administrative and clerical support to the Records department, while maintaining individual production requirements, in support of the unit and agency mission. Updates and maintains records, files and in automated databases. Position is also responsible for additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Unit.

This is a wage position limited to working no more than 1,500 hours per agency during the 12 month period of May 1 - April 30, regardless of the hire date. The wage employment period resets on May 1 of the following year. All wage employees are limited to working no more than 29 hours per week on average over the 12-month period. This wage position offers no state benefits.

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated skill in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel to accomplish office support requirements. Recent experience providing customer service and administrative support in a professional office setting. Considerable knowledge of office practices, procedures, and office equipment.

Additional Considerations

Knowledge of Clerical and/or administrative support experience in the Correctional and/or alternative setting. Additional knowledge in office administration or equivalent training. Working knowledge of a multi-line communication system. Experience in filing or record keeping or data entry.
