Job Introduction
Are you ready to learn and be challenged as part of a highly motivated, trusted team at the heart of a thriving business? Our US Commercial Sales team is looking for a rare character to support the Northeast Region as our On-Premise Specialist (OPS) for New York. The OPS - New York will represent the William Grant & Sons portfolio in an assigned account base in Metro NY area through account sales calls, development of creative programming, and an overall passion for our brands.
Main Responsibility
The OPS will advocate for our core brands in Metro NY on-premise market. They will be a market expert influencing key thought leaders. They will attract, retain and develop business across specific accounts. This individual will work across departments, building relationships with key players at the partner distributor as well as with the WG&S Region Marketing team and Brand Ambassadors. This role will require the ability to work nights and weekends; with some travel.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced sales person with a history of calling on the on premise market within Metro NY area. We are seeking a team member who excels at relationship building and enjoys engaging with buyers and consumers alike. A creative thinker who is also a clear communicator, good presenter and is well organized. Product/cocktail knowledge is a plus, but not essential. Must be able to manage a budget and administrative tasks.
This role is not eligible for international or domestic relocation.
