Sibley Memorial Hospital - Johns Hopkins Medicine, is a non-profit, full service 318 bed acute care community hospital located in the Palisades neighborhood of Washington, DC.

About the position:

The Oncology Clinical Nurse Navigator/Coordinator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team who has clinical nursing expertise in cancer. She/he is a clinical resource, advocate, and educator. She/he works with the goal of helping patients overcome health care system barriers and facilitates timely access to treatment. She/he is responsible for ensuring all patients with a cancer diagnosis receive quality and comprehensive services. She/he coordinates patient care across the continuum, from diagnosis through survivorship. She/he serves as a clinical resource with expertise in cancer care management and is a liaison within the facility and to the community. She/he is present in the medical oncology clinic as a vital member of the oncology care team.

What you will bring:

• Experience: Preferred three years direct patient care experience in oncology.
• Licensure: Current District of Columbia licensure or eligibility.
• Education: Minimum nursing baccalaureate degree from an accredited school.
• Certification: certification from the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Program (ONCC) or other cancer specific nursing certification. If not certified obtains within 12 months of hire.

Salary Range: Minimum $43.57 per hour - Maximum $67.53 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
