Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer to support an IT consulting company in the Richmond, VA area. This consultant will be responsible for traveling to ambulatory and hospital sites if any network issues arise that cannot be troubleshot remotely. The priority responsibilities will be working hands-on with Cisco wireless and CORE & distribution switches. Much of this work will be hands-on and support for other local groups and customer service needs to be at 100% during the workday to manage client relations. The pay range for this position is $50-$65.00/hr and we are looking for someone to start before the end of July.

Required Skills & Experience
- hands-on experience working within an enterprise Cisco environment (probably coming from data center)
- hands-on experience with Cisco CORE, distribution or catalyst switches
- strong knowledge of EIGRP (or BGP, or the like) routing protocols
- hands on experience working with Meraki and Palo Alto hardware/software
