The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia is inviting applicants for multiple tenure-ineligible or tenured faculty appointments at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

The successful candidate will provide rehab care in the UVA Encompass Health JV Rehabilitation Hospital and in an outpatient clinical setting. The candidate will also provide, on a rotational basis, night and weekend coverage.

Qualified candidates will possess a MD; MD/PhD or DO doctoral level degree, as is board-certification or board-eligibility by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The incumbent must be committed to a career in academic medicine and interested in combining clinical practice with resident education and/or research.

Salary, rank, and tenure are commensurate with education and experience. Appointment with tenure requires documented excellence in research and teaching, and an emerging national reputation.
