Job Description
Advance your career in the Maryland/DC region! We invite you to join our team of multispecialty anesthesiologists at the University of Maryland. We're seeking board-eligible/board-certified MD/DO anesthesiologists to support our rapidly expanding growth in both OR and non-OR environments. Opportunities currently exist at our downtown campus and community practices. Duties include clinical care and teaching of learners at all levels-SRNA, medical students, residents and fellows.
Our team is dedicated to helping faculty obtain outstanding skills and additional certifications in ultrasound, simulation, quality/safety/clinical research and expertise in many other disciplines. Our department has a very strong research profile (#10 national 2023 Blue Ridge Ranking) as well as a perioperative data warehouse with resources to facilitate clinical research. We also offer excellent benefits (including tuition remission for both faculty and dependents), loan forgiveness, competitive compensation and ample opportunities for academic growth and advancement.
Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate's experience.
