Under the direct supervision of the perioperative nurse manager, the ORA II is responsible for terminal cleaning ORs, including but not limited to the cleaning of all OR equipment, cabinets, anesthesia care area, and set up for the next day. ORA II has the basic standard level expectations as ORA I, in addition to terminal cleaning. Evening/night shift and weekends required. The ORA II functions as a member of the perioperative nursing team who has specific knowledge, skills, and training to work in the operating room environment. The ORA II works efficiently with the environmental services team, equipment technicians, and biomedical engineering team to complete the terminal cleaning process.

Hours:

Night shift, 8pm-6:30am Sunday-Wednesday

Qualifications

1. High school graduate or equivalent
2. Able to read, understand and write English
3. Successful completion of Hospital Orientation
4. Successful completion of Departmental Orientation and Training
