In collaboration with the Nursing Director and Associate Chief Nurse, the Operating Room Manager/Assistant Nurse Director plans, organizes, implements and oversees clinical and program development within the OR to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of BWFH as well as the regulatory requirements of the JCAHO and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Responsibilities include oversight of professional nursing practice, planning, management and operation of surgical service to ensure quality patient care for patients in the following age groups: adolescents, adults and geriatrics. The Assistant Director will also assure the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practice.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field, or enrollment in program preferred
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership development, management experience preferred
- Staff adheres to all C.A.R.E. Standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
