Responsibilities:
Leading / participating in Gemba walks, kaizens, supporting employees on continuous improvement, standard work, flow, takt time attainment, and problem-solving abnormalities causing takt misses.
Develop and improve Assembly visual work aids
Leads and maintains opportunity tracker from opportunities identified on Gemba walks.
Prioritize Projects and its execution in alignment to business needs
Working and escalating with necessary personnel to identify, address, and eliminate process related obstacles
Obtaining required fixtures, tools, work aids, poke yokes to support workplace changes
Conduct cycle time analyses, time studies, line balance improvements and workplace improvements
Creating and implementing standard work, and teaching/coaching line leaders to do the same
Implementing / coaching the use of cell control boards and other visual management tools
Implementing and maintain lean disciplines and 5-S to internal processes,
Support on-site audits
Support continuous improvement and cost reduction projects at the site
Other duties as identified by the Manufacturing Manager to further improve the sites Lean Manufacturing practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Associates or Bachelor of Science degree or related discipline desired (Equivalent education / training / or experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree)
Experience working in a world-class Lean working environment
Certified on Green Belt Lean Six Sigma
Knowledge Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement-based tools and techniques highly preferred
Ability to interpret 3D Models, schematics and Drawings
Ability to use statistical and graphical tools such as pareto analysis
