Strategic Analysis, Inc. seeks an Operational Planning, Wargaming & Exercises Expert to provide assessment expertise, quantitative analyses, senior advisory support, and planning, coordination, and assistance for a DoD/OSD R&D program.

As a Operational Planning, Wargaming & Exercises Expert, you will:
• Function as a member of a coordinated support team in grasping complex concepts and technologies, applying critical and innovative thinking, communicating effectively, and working seamlessly across the breadth of functional areas.
• Provide in-depth expertise in the assessment of proposed demonstrations and experimentation to determine the technical merit of proposed objectives and methodologies.
• Assist in conducting quantitative analyses of system/mission requirements as they pertain to the potential insertion of advanced technologies.
• Assist in assembling senior advisory panels consisting of SMEs/consultant services and/or highly skilled personnel with specialized training and background to provide studies and assessments on a wide variety of systems and technologies supporting the program.
• Provide technical support in the areas of defining test objectives and procedures, theoretical calculation and analysis related to performer progress, modeling objectives and techniques, and coordination of modeling and testing.
• Provide planning, coordination, and assistance with testing and/or demonstrations as required to support program objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Clearance: An active TS/SCI is required.

Education: MS degree required; PhD preferred.

Experience and Skills:
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in Operational Planning, Wargaming, and/or Exercise planning, development, and execution of technical projects of a R&D nature, concerned with unique or controversial problems which have an important effect on major DoD programs.
• Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning, and conducting exercises and wargaming combining operational expertise with novel technology approaches and sophisticated research techniques to assess military effectiveness and engineering viability.
• Demonstrated experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices in technological programs, preferably one that has transitioned to operational use, or programs related to thrust areas delineated in this PWS.
• Experience, background, and knowledge of program transition efforts (highly preferred).
