Job Description

SCOPE OF POSITION
The Operations Analyst coordinates projects for the Ballad Health Medical Associates Operations Team and supports the business initiatives of the clinics to ensure the promotion of the Mission, Vision, and Values. With the Ballad Health Medical Associates Operations Team, the Analyst supports key operations needs and long term strategic and business plans.
The job responsibilities of the Operations Analyst include but are not limited to:
• Identifies project requirements by interviewing patients and team members, analyzing operations, determining project scope, and documenting results;
• Identifies any barriers and resolves conflicts within the project by problem solving and analyzing alternative solutions;
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information;
• Ensures Standard Work is available where appropriate;
• Identify workflow/ process improvements;
• Establishes personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies;
• Driving standardization throughout operations across all locations to ensure continuity and consistency of care in addition to the financial viability of the clinics;
• Evaluation of customer service initiatives within the clinics;
• Maintains current knowledge of, complies with regulatory and company policies and procedures;
• Supports facility and Ballad Health goals, mission, vision, values, expectations, financial plans, and policies and procedures;
• Provides support for departmental/ clinic plans and objectives;
• Facilitates projects for Ballad Health Medical Associates/Facility requests;
• Leads and manages multiple high priority projects and requests concurrently;
• Makes verbal and written reports for leadership;
• May manage and review the work of and designate work to other operations analysts;
• Assists in the onboarding, training, and development of other operations analysts;
• Performs duties for extended periods of time with limited or no direct supervision;
• Demonstrates a commitment to continuing education and professional development through the pursuit of a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare Project Management and operational practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or other related field and 2 years of relevant experience healthcare is required. Master's Degree (MBA, MPH, or equivalent) is strongly preferred, as is Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Well-developed interpersonal and communications skills are essential to the position. Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude, a high degree of accuracy, and ability to manage time and change is required. The incumbent must possess the ability to relate to individuals and groups at all socioeconomic and education levels. The incumbent will be required to update technical, managerial and leadership skills through continuing education and active membership in appropriate professional organizations throughout tenure in this position.
