Position Description

We have embarked on an exciting digital journey to transform our global operations and are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join us as an Operations Digitalization Engineer. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement digital tools and automation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, a knack for problem-solving, and a keen interest in leveraging technology to drive operational excellence. Task Description:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze operational processes, identifying opportunities for digitalization and automation.

- Design and implement digital solutions to optimize manufacturing, supply chain, and quality management processes within the biotech industry.

- Work closely with IT teams to integrate digital tools and technologies with existing systems, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.

- Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of digital solutions.

- Provide technical support and training to end-users for newly implemented digital tools.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to evaluate and implement third-party digital solutions.

Position Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; however, candidates with relevant apprenticeship experience are strongly encouraged to apply

- Proven experience in implementing digital solutions and automation in operational processes, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

- Strong programming skills, with proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text).

- Knowledge of machine connectivity protocols and interfaces (e.g., OPC, MQTT, Modbus).

Personal Requirements

- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
