Job Summary/Basic Function

The Campus Recreation (CR) Facility Supervisor serves as the hourly employee in charge during their shift, filling a paraprofessional role by liaising between professional staff and hourly staff/participants. The Facility Supervisor conducts rounds in areas in which CR programs are conducted including (but not limited to) the Wildcat Center, Wildcat Arena (IMs/Sport Clubs), and Swenson Pool. Duties include completing risk management check-lists, trouble-shooting participant and hourly staff issues, and ensuring smooth operations with CR programs, services, and facilities. This position opens and closes the Wildcat Center, is a primary responder for accidents/incidents, and addresses immediate facility custodial needs (bathroom/locker room supplies, spot cleaning). This position reports to the CR Associate Director.

Required Qualifications

Minimum one semester work experience at Weber State University
American Red Cross CPR/AED and standard First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire
Ability to enforce Campus Recreation policies and protocols; ability to take charge and direct change appropriately; enthusiasm for position and department; good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
