Job Description

The hybrid Master of Science in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of Oklahoma is designed to provide a comprehensive educational experience for entrepreneurs and corporate innovators. This forward-thinking program explores the principles, strategies, and best practices that drive successful business ventures and foster a culture of innovation within organizations.

With guidance from esteemed faculty and access to a diverse network of entrepreneurial professionals, graduates emerge equipped with the knowledge, skills, and connections necessary to spearhead new ventures or lead innovation within established corporations.

Program Operations
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the MS in E&I program, and the E&I graduate certificate program.
  • Responsible for daily program management throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Aligns deliverables to the program's outcome.
  • Work with the external vendor on managing the lead funnel and moving applicants through the admissions process
  • Work with Program Director to assist with program needs, including recruiting accelerated undergraduate students from Price College and from other colleges at OU.
  • Coordinate all logistics and hospitality services for in-residence week, such as hotel, food, transportation, events, and other related needs as they arise.
  • Responsible for all program-related services involving students (enrollment, financial aid, VA benefits etc.) and faculty (ordering books, handling logistics etc.).
  • Provides oversight of ongoing projects
  • Assesses program effectiveness and identifies areas of improvement.
  • Develops program goals and objectives.
  • Assist the Program Director with program schedule, teaching needs, on-site events, online events, financial statements, payments, reimbursements, etc.
  • Collect and analyze data as needed to help Program Director in managing student needs, meeting market demand, accreditation, preparing reports and responding to inquiries.
  • Assist the Program Director and the OU Marketing and Communications team with the creation and dissemination of program materials (e.g., website content, newsletters, brochures, handbooks and other publications).
  • Assist the Program Director and Price College Director of Alumni Engagement and Executive Director of Advancement in engaging with alumni and donors.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

Student Support
  • Serve as primary liaison on all academic matters including monitoring progress for each student.
  • Provide hands-on, concierge service for students in the program throughout the entire student lifecycle, from admission to graduation.
  • Track student success and monitor student progress towards program completion.
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of enrollment: help students with enrollment, communicate with students on academic progress, schedules, and timelines; and coordinate with the Program Director, faculty, and other departments within the University on all enrollment matters.
  • Manage data and document processes for students ensuring data is consistent across databases (Salesforce, ApplyWeb, Banner/One, Slate, etc.) and update as needed throughout the student cycle.
  • Support graduation processes including coordinating with College and University graduation activities, final enrollment and credit verification, graduation application and final candidacy form checks.
  • Coordinate with other OU departments regarding tuition/fees, online course delivery issues, international student requirements; etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.


Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND:
  • 48 months of program development, program management or related experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 96 months of related experience.

Skills:
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets and presentation software.
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty, and staff.
