Position Details:
The Operations Supervisor are accountable for department performance by ensuring operational readiness. Mentoring and managing staff to promote quality, safety and excellence in care. Accountable for accurate and timely processing of payroll. Accountable for completing staff evaluations within 15 days of due date. Accountable for procurement and maintenance of equipment, supplies and instruments for direct patient care and support areas. Accountable for effective cost control, ordering, delivery, distribution, inventory and evaluation of systems for equipment, supplies and instruments.

Education/Experince:
- Associates of Arts degree or the completion of 60 credits towards a Bachelors degree. Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred; successful completion of an accredited paramedic training program required. Requires professional level of knowledge of healthcare delivery systems or related field.
- Minimum of two years of EMS or hospital experience within last three years. Preferred minimum of one year as a full-time advanced life support (ALS) provider. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- National Registry and State of Maryland Paramedic licensure. District of Columbia Paramedic license or obtain within 120 days. PA Paramedic license or obtain within 120 days. Current advanced & basic cardiac life support (ACLS & CPR).
- Within first year of employment, obtains and maintains: PALS, NRP, Trauma Life Support, STABLE. CCEMT-P certificate current or obtain within first two years of employment.
- Unrestricted Valid Driver's License and maintain contracted ambulance vendor's emergency vehicle operator requirements.
