Job Description:
The Florida Museum of Natural History is seeking a part-time OPS Visitor Service Representative. Visitor Service Representatives greet and direct visitors, assist them in our Museum Store, answer our multi-line phone system, and sell tickets for exhibitions.
1 Part-time, 15-20 hours per week, shifts are Saturday 9:00am-5:30pm and Sunday 12:00pm-5:30pm, additional shifts during the week may be available.
This is a time-limited position, one-year minimum commitment preferred.
Expected Salary:
$15.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
A successful applicant has a positive attitude, the ability to function as a knowledgeable ambassador of our institution and the desire to foster a positive and welcoming environment to all. Ability to multi-task, handle a fast pace professional working environment and communicate effectively are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and customer service industry preferred.
