Description

EHS Technologies Corporation, a dynamic Government Contractor, currently has a need for an Oracle Database Administrator at their DLA, Northeast Philadelphia office.

You will serve as a database administrator for a content management system supporting the Naval Logistics Technical Data Repository (NAVLOGTD). Typical duties include the installation, maintenance, configuration, and upgrade of the content management database and supporting software. This is a team environment, and we are willing to consider candidates with limited experience and provide training.

Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years Oracle Database Administration experience

Develop schemas and write procedures that conform to modern best practices and standards

Design and execute complex data migrations with zero data loss

Recommend new technology and present ideas for improvement

Able to work occasional off-hours

Provides internal and external customer support as needed

Possesses CompTIA Security+ and DoD Secret security clearance

Oracle Database Certifications

Desired Skills

Analytical thinker

Aptitude for troubleshooting database and application/system errors via logs, documentation, and vendor/coworker assistance

Conscientious about documenting processes and modifications to system

Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager

Oracle Database certifications a plus

DISA STIG/SRG experience a plus

Familiarity with NIST 800-53 a plus

Responsibilities

Coordinate, implement, patch, and modify Oracle Databases

Evaluate usage and make recommendations to support future growth

Troubleshoot problems and implement approved changes

Conduct and record security assessments and audits of Oracle databases and supporting software and implement necessary security configurations in accordance with approved DoD Security Technical Implementation Guideline.
