Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Insight Global is looking for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer for one of our top financial services clients. This individual will be joining a Treasury Technology team within the Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology space. Enterprise Capital Management Technology (ECMT) supports the Capital Management function within Corporate Treasury. The ideal candidate will come from an Oracle PL/SQL development background. The ideal individual will be extremely well versed in SQL database development and Oracle database development. The team will be subject to multiple critical regulations and going through a Technology Transformation Journey to build and adopt General capabilities for Data Ingestion, Rules Authoring & Execution, and Analytics capabilities. This is a greenfield project that requires meticulous design to replace multiple legacy applications within Treasury Technology. These applications will also house some critical regulatory programs such as Basel IV, & FRTB.

Required Skills & Experience

6-12 years of experience in database development, administration, information technology, database architecture
7+ years of true Oracle Database and SQL Database Development
Advanced SQL Knowledge (Star Schemas, Indexes, SQL Server Management Studio, trigger processes, stored procedures, tables, etc.)
Strong hands-on experience with Performance Tuning
Utilization of ETL solutions to handle large volumes of data by applying data warehouse modeling
Basic knowledge of Python
Experience working with Linux, Unix and/or Windows Server environments.
