Orthopedic Physician Assistant Hip and Joint (RTP10845/POS-12882)

The Department of Orthopedics at Banner Health and Banner Medical Group (BMG) is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our growing team of Orthopedic Surgeons in Phoenix, AZ. We provide care to a varied group of patients with general orthopedic and total joint surgical needs. Our PA will round on patients on the hospital floor; see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic and provide surgical first-assist in the OR. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, a critical thinker, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.

Requirements:

• Experienced PA w/Orthopedic skill preferred but new graduates will be considered.
• Graduate degree from an accredited PA program required
• Must have AZ license (or eligibility to receive by hire date)
• DEA with prescriptive authority required
• BLS card for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association

Practice Details:

• Full-time | M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM
• Surgical/Clinical position; 2 days of Clinic, 2-3 days of OR
• Call: Practice Call only no Hospital
• PA will have their own Patient Panel
• Supportive team
