Orthopedic/Acute Care Rehab Techncian - Rehab - Full-Time - Days

Job Description:

• PURPOSE OF JOB: To perform designated tasks related to the operation of the Rehabilitation and Orthopedic departments and to assist in patient treatment under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational/Physical Therapist

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Participates in the discharge process of orthopedic patients.
• Participates in the rehabilitation treatment process by assisting the PT and OT department with the general care of the patient and achievement of established goals
• Prepares and maintains treatment and patient care areas including supplies
• Performs clerical duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

B. Experience: Previous work experience in a related area is desirable

C. Other Skills : Must possess the ability to work independently and in a team.

Must possess the ability to problem solve, demonstrate good judgment and make good decisions.

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to function under occasional pressure

Certified in CPR/BLS.

Must be competent with computer applications.
