McLean Hospital Outpatient Therapist Position: Adult Psychotic Disorders Clinic

McLean Hospital Bipolar and Psychotic Disorders Clinic is seeking to fill a part-time position for a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) The position is for 20hours per week.The clinic is an outpatient program that is dedicated to the assessment and treatment of adults ages 18-65 who have Bipolar or Psychotic Disorders.

As part of a comprehensive outpatient program the social worker will perform clinical intake assessments, individual and group therapy with patients. and document in a timely and comprehensive fashion. The clinician will participate in a multidisciplinary team with a flexible, creative approach to meeting the needs of this patient population.

The position includes reliable and reasonable caseload, regular clinical supervision and opportunities to contribute to program development.

Additionally participation in other hospital activities including committees, teaching, trainings and research is encouraged.

Qualifications

Candidates must be licensed as an LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

Previous experience delivering evidence based treatments within a multidisciplinary team structure

All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes.
