Overview
Work Collaboratively with the Sales Team, Engineering, and Operations to drive sales and profitability. The Outside Sales Manager is responsible for handling the most important client accounts in the company. The Outside Sales Manager will serve as the main point of contact for all new business client matters and is responsible for anticipating the clients' needs. The Outside Sales Manager is also responsible for identifying new business opportunities, further developing existing business relationships, and creating new business relationships, with the goal of increasing Sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists the Business Development Managers and the Business Unit Managers with the development of the annual new business Plan
• Responsible for identification and capture of new business opportunities with new and existing customers.
• Primary focal for trade show and outside marketing activities
• Develop a solid and trusting relationship with key clients
• Resolve client issues and complaints relating to new business objectives
• Develop a complete understanding of key account needs
• Manage communications between key account clients and internal teams
• Must be able to manage multiple projects, accounts, and clients
• Collaborate with the Sales team to maximize profit by up selling and/or cross-selling
• Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
• Analyze client data to provide customer relationship management
• Participate in Training as required.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Package
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift at least 20 lbs.
• Must be a "US Person" as defined by US Govt. and able to work without restriction with ITAR related data
• Road Warrior - Must be able to travel 70% of the time both International and Domestic
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Significant experience in Aerospace applications, Industrial markets, or equivalent relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related degree is required.
• HarcoSemco is proud to be a Federal contractor and supplier of material to the US Department of Defense. To conform with US export regulations and ITAR 120.15 and EAR Part 772, incumbents for this role should be eligible for any required authorizations from the US government.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid US Passport for business-related travel.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex policies and recommend changes to procedures.
• Ability to respond to significant inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Needs to be a proficient communicator and listener.
