Our client, a Global Fortune 500 company specializing in digital automation and energy management, is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to be at the forefront of discovering and qualifying new business opportunities into the sales pipeline and are responsible for building relationships with prospective customers, as well as be responsible for the growth of our business through developing and maintaining relationships with accounts that result in new construction contracts. This is a full-time, base salary + commission-based position. Duties include but are not limited to:
Generating sales orders that meet or exceed financial targets for the branch
Conducting outbound sales activities such as cold calling, sending strategic emails, social media engagement, professional organizations, networking events, and qualifying sales opportunities.
Meeting or exceeding activity metrics for calls, appointments scheduled, and generating sales opportunities.
Supporting the Pre-construction team for developing cost estimates and proposals
Creating monthly / quarterly account plans to drive new business.
Conducting research on target accounts to identify key decision-makers and creating tailored messaging for each prospect.
Partnering with the Marketing team to follow up on email marketing campaigns and nurturing prospects to convert them in appropriate timescales.
Updating and maintaining records with the CRM (Salesforce)

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience in a technical sales area, experience in the specific sector is a plus.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or another related field
Knowledge in selling services offers is preferred (hunting and consultative selling).
Sales oriented/ passionate/ team player/ organized/ resilient/ engaging & enthusiastic
Strong interpersonal skills, seeking new ways of learning to upskill himself or herself
Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and CRM tools (BFO).
Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and build customer relationships.
Interest in technology
