Outside Sales Representative

Insight Global is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to work for one of our vehicle transportation/logistics clients based out of Kansas City, MO. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth and maintaining our client's reputation as a leading vehicle transportation and logistics provider. Our client currently partners closely with GM and Ford, but they are looking to break into new clients/companies such as Kia, Toyota, Honda, etc..

Some of the job duties are below.

Client Acquisition: Identify and establish contact with potential customers within the automotive and logistics sectors.
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including major partners like GM and Ford.
Sales Presentations: Schedule and conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential and current clients.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate sales contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Reporting: Generate and submit regular sales reports to management, detailing sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts.
Customer Support: Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
Travel: Travel within assigned territories to meet with clients and attend industry trade shows and events.

Required Skills & Experience

5-10 years of outside sales experience
Must have at least 5 years in Vehicle Transporation or Logistics industry
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with travelling 25-35% of the time.
Must possess a valid driver's license.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business administration, communications, or related field
