Package Room Attendant

Job Scope:

Responsible for receiving, logging, and releasing all guest departure luggage checked in for storage in the package room. Other duties as requested.

Job Functions:

Luggage Transport

• Retrieves luggage from Bellmen and Bell Captains in the lobby.
• Brings bags promptly to guests in the lobby when requested.
• Escorts guest and their luggage to the Doorman.

Luggage Storing

• Makes sure that all bags are properly tagged.
• Logs all luggage in the proper book upon receipt and release.
• Organizes stored luggage on shelves in the neatest possible manner.
• Makes sure that the luggage room is locked at all times.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Six months previous experience in a position that will provide the skills necessary for this position.

Desirable:

• High school graduate and fluency in English and French.

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry in excess of 50 lbs.

Salary Range: $15.9182 - $21.2243 per hour
