Our Team at Aquent is working with a client whose HQ is in Cupertino in their search for a Packaging & Print Producer who will master the Packaging project workflow including all regulatory requirements to ensure applications used to create packaging are efficient and compliant. This person will be the subject matter expertise in prepress, UV inkjet print techniques and manufacturing processes is preferred. In this role, you will manage R&D projects with cross-functional partners, including: Packaging, Product Marketing, Designers, Packaging Engineering, Business Process Re-engineering, Industrial Design, Purchasing, Localization, Operations, in-region local teams and suppliers.

Key Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Printing, Graphic Communications or equivalent and three to five years of relevant experience in print production.
  • Expertise in program and project management; ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities, track deliverables, and develop schedules with functional and cross functional partners.
  • Deep understanding of prepress and printing technologies, including variable data applications and workflows as well as overall engineering and design process.
  • Subject matter expertise in print techniques and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in Mac applications; database management systems; Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat; and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Manages time effectively. Flexible during high-volume periods (some longer or late hours)
  • Demonstrated ability to traffic technical R&D and initiative project details and updates across multiple teams. Prepare program team for future implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to use project tracking methods and tools, including database/project management systems to track project open actions and drive for closure.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective presentation slides with data supporting for different audiences ex Creative group, Engineering group etc.

Description:
  • Collaborate with Senior Print Expert team and attend technology and project stage gate meetings meeting to roll out new print technology, new software tool and raw materials.
  • Collaborate with key stake holders and gain alignment on development plan and roadmap.
  • Regular executive levels reporting in both written and verbal format with effective presentation slides.
  • Supply project visibility to cross functional team and internal Marcom team.
  • Manage overall program schedule across multiple deliverables, and cross functional teams
  • Manage scoping out project requirements, creative development, validation, all the way through final solution launch or material production.
  • Work with cross functional partners to develop, review, document and launch packaging solutions on a worldwide scale.
  • Provide valid use cases for testing new packaging solutions.
  • Present concepts and solutions to cross functional leadership to gain support and/or understanding to keep projects on track.
  • Guide proposals during the creative and development phase of projects with the understanding of capabilities within our tools and supply base.
  • Train users on the new tools, methods and solutions deployed in to the packaging production process.
  • Create print test forms using Adobe CC, with the direction of the Marcom Packaging Print Experts or Print Development Manager.

QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE:
  • Preferred years of experience : 3+ Years
  • Travel Required : 25% or less
  • Business Day Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $75 to $100 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
