PALLIATIVE CARE SOCIAL WORKER (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple University Hospital

The Palliative Care Social Worker provides psychosocial assessment, treatment planning and interventions for palliative care patients and their families. Works collaboratively with Palliative Care Team, hospital staff and community to provide specialized and personalized medical care with the focus of managing patient's symptoms, pain, and stress as well as providing support for the family.

Education

Masters Degree : Accredited School of Social Work (Required)

Experience

2 Years recent experience in Palliative and Hospice Care (Required)

2 Years experience as a Medical Social Worker (Required)

License/Certifications

SW-LIC - PA Social Worker License (Preferred)

CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Preferred)
