They provide legal collection, litigation, and judgment enforcement services throughout Illinois (headquartered in Chicago), Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky, and Ohio.

As the Commercial Litigation Department’s Paralegal / Legal Assistant, you will manage the department caseload inventory, maintain the department calendar, retrieve court orders / docketing court results and future court dates, e-filing, service of process, mailings, open and loading files into case management system, assisting with the discovery process, and coordinating with vendors such as court reporters and process servers.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Department’s case inventory and calendar.
  • Prepare, file, and e-file legal documents under attorney supervision.
  • Ensure excellent client communication, track billable hours, and manage invoices.
  • Assist with discovery preparation and response and coordinate service of process.
  • Run reports to monitor performance metrics and court calendars.


Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Paralegal/Legal Assistant experience within a law firm
  • E-Filing experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • College Degree
  • Paralegal certificate
  • Collection or Foreclosure or Bankruptcy, Replevin law firms
