System One has partnered with a well-established law firm spanning numerous states in their search for a Paralegal/Office Manager to join their highly skilled team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional law, corporate law, and civil litigation, and will also possess the ability to manage office operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents related to corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Conduct legal research and provide support on various corporate governance matters.
  • Maintain corporate records, including minutes, resolutions, and filings.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and external agencies to facilitate transactional activities.
  • Manage office administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and file organization.
  • Oversee compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys.
  • Will be responsible for coordinating with the IT department on office technology needs, serve as main point of contact for all maintenance, facilities requests, and service calls; and managing vendor relationships by assisting with vendor contacts and service calls.


Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an ABA approved Legal Assistant/Paralegal program, or certification through NALA, NFPA, or NALS; or hold a bachelor's degree from a 4 year accredited university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Paralegal or Legal Secretary experience including experience in transactional practice and civil litigation practice in federal and state courts.
  • Software proficiencies include: advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe, iManage (or similar document management system).
  • Must be familiar with eBilling and law firm billing procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
