Position Summary
  • Program duration: 2 years
  • Program Structure: 4 rotational assignments
  • Rotations' length: 6 months each
  • Relocation requirements: The assignments will likely require relocation. Geographic flexibility is required during the program
  • This is not a remote position

Responsibilities

Train for future positions in Parker's Accounting & Finance areas. Acquire skills to provide quality service. Develop insights to accounting & finance areas including cost accounting, lean accounting, financial analytics, audit and compliance, etc. while learning Parker's systems and using active problem solving.
  • Participate in the Accounting Leadership Development Program for two (2) years to develop for future Finance/Accounting positions within Parker
  • If at a Division, assist the Accounting Manager/Division Controller with monthly closings and ad-hoc projects
  • Assist on projects relating to those of a Cost Accountant, Financial Analyst, Internal Auditor, etc
  • Learn proper efficiencies relating to analytical and presentation skills (\"how to say more with less\")
  • Network with others at your location, including those outside of the accounting field
  • Complete various training programs
Qualifications

To join this program, you need to meet or exceed the following criteria:
  • Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Must be willing and able to relocate every six (6) months
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, i.e., GAAP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
  • Proficiency in other software, i.e., SQL, Python, R, is a plus
  • This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a --
    • US citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders], or have refugee or asylee status)
