The Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies (HLS) communications team manages all strategic marketing and communications to support the Office of the Dean, the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, and all School units in promoting events and programming.

Job Summary

Department Specific Responsibilities
  • Designs and sends emails promoting Hamilton Lugar School events and student opportunities using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Responsible for compiling and sending 3 weekly email newsletters to students with events, career opportunities, and professional development opportunities.
  • Develops relationships with student clubs, students, to help promote events and student opportunities at the Hamilton Lugar School and beyond.
  • Assists social media interns in making sure Hamilton Lugar School events are promoted and included in weekly social media schedules.
  • Depending on skills, may assist with graphic design, photography, videography, or writing.

EDUCATION

Required
  • Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University
SKILLS

Required
  • Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other email marketing software
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Writing skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Highly thorough and dependable
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism
  • High commitment to quality
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, even under pressure

Advertised Salary

$13 per hour

Work Hours

Up to 10 hours per week.

Start date is flexible and can be negotiated based on student's availability to start in summer or fall. Start date can be as early as May 6, 2024.
