Duties/Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

Enter, review and correct metadata for new and existing assets in Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure consistence and accurate metadata that adds value and findability for the end user search experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

Assist DAM team with the evaluation and creation of documentation used for user training and system governance.

Percentage of time 15
Duties/Responsibilities

Assist DAM team with workflows in project management system, including training schedules, user management, and asset and license requests.

Assist DAM team with asset ingestion process, including: file naming and organization standards; default metadata; uploading original and versioned assets into the DAM; progress assets through administrative review procedures.

Research asset requests in DAM system and film archives.

Migrate content from outside sources into the DAM, including evaluating, organizing, digitizing, tagging, and adding metadata to assets.

Minimum Qualifications

Position Summary

This position will provide assistance to the Division of Marketing & Communications staff with primary focus on the workflow and logistics of digital asset management. This position is supervised by the Associate Director for Operations and IT.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

High level of computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office, Safari or Chrome web browser, Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to learn digital asset, workflow and film digitization software systems. Excellent organization skills, attention to details and ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
