Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery



The University of Maryland, Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking applications and nominations for a part-time (3 days a week), faculty member in the Special Needs & Geriatric Dentistry within the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Responsibilities include academic and clinical teaching, at undergraduate level, and supervision of dental students and care of patients on the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, and Special Care & Geriatrics Clinic at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Qualifications

A DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree, eligibility for licensure to practice dentistry in Maryland, is required. At least one year AEGD/GPR residency is preferred. Candidates must ideally have experience in providing clinical dentistry in a special needs and geriatric patient population. Experience in undergraduate teaching is an advantage.



Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
