Part-Time Payroll Consultant

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Payroll Consultant to join their team.

The Part-Time Payroll Consultant will play a crucial role in managing and executing payroll functions using ADP Workforce Now. This position requires a detail-oriented and knowledgeable individual who can ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management and extensive experience with ADP Workforce Now. This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling may be needed to meet payroll deadlines and address urgent issues.

Part-Time Payroll Consultant Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly or monthly payrolls accurately and timely using ADP Workforce Now
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll laws and regulations
• Handle payroll deductions, tax withholdings, garnishments and other payroll-related adjustments
• Maintain and update employee payroll records in ADP Workforce Now
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve any discrepancies promptly
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and other related tasks
• Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
• Provide training and support to HR and accounting teams on payroll processes and ADP Workforce Now functionalities
• Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate general ledger postings related to payroll
• Participate in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation and support

Part-Time Payroll Consultant Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Consultant or similar role with a strong focus on payroll management
• Extensive experience with ADP Workforce Now is mandatory
• In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, regulations and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data processing
• Must be comfortable working part-time
