Part-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Allegra Nursing and Rehab is looking a Physical Therapist Assistant to aide in the restoration and enhancement of independent function and maximizes independence in those individuals whose living status has been compromised by illness and/or injury.

This position is an IN HOUSE position. Allegra does not contract out therapy services. We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant 3 days per week, the days are flexible and we are willing to work around your schedule.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Provides treatment which meets needs and uses current treatment knowledge in accordance with the Facility clinical procedures.

• Treats patients under the direction of the Physical Therapist, communicates with families, physicians and other interdisciplinary team members, and documents services in the medical record.

• Provides accurate, complete, and clear documentation.

• Consistently demonstrate the Facility's interdisciplinary approach to resident/patient care.

• Other duties as assigned.

Our candidates will possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Educational requirements:

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy
