Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join a laboratory team in the Department of Oral and Craniofacial Sciences at the UMKC School of Dentistry. The lab is focused on dental biomaterials and calcified tissue research. The position is at the level of Research Aide. The successful candidate should excel in teamwork settings and exhibit dedication to maintaining tidiness and organization.

Job Description

- Assisting research focused on calcified tissues, including the biochemical characterization of human tooth specimens.
- Supporting daily laboratory operations, making and changing solutions, aiding colleagues in data collection and analysis
- Helping to keep the lab benches clean.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently undergraduate students in the biochemical or biological field, possessing professional laboratory skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a biomedical research laboratory being advantageous
Anticipated Hiring Range
$15 an hour, at approximately 20 hours a week.
