Part-time Unit Coordinator - Medical/Surgical Inpatient Units!

We are actively recruiting part-time Unit Coordinators to join our team! Several shifts available- day, evening, night, and weekend!

The Unit Coordinator works under the direction of the Nurse Manager or designee to coordinate the activities essential to the effective functioning of the patient care unit. She/he acts as a key contact person for the nursing unit; performs appropriate tasks to implement physician orders, clerical tasks, and reception duties.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous clerical/secretarial experience in a health care setting preferred

• Basic computer skills including keyboarding

• Medical terminology preferred
