Typical Work Schedule: Varying (Rotating schedule of 7am-3:30pm, 7:30am-4:00pm, 8am-4:30pm)

SUMMARY
Welcomes patients to Evangelical Community Hospital. Accurately gathers, verifies and records all pertinent information required to comply with medical regulations and to produce correct statistical information. Verifies all tests and procedures ordered meet medical necessity criteria. Verifies insurance benefits for all patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Medical terminology and medical billing course preferred.
* Prior customer service experience required.
* Registration experience preferred.
Pennsylvania State Police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance, and an FBI criminal history check required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
* Involves direct close patient contact 10.00%
* Pushing/pulling wheelchairs, stretchers & equip up to 50lbs 10.00%
* Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Unloading Equipment up to 100lbs 10.00%
* Frequently required/prolonged sitting, standing or walking 65.00%
* Stand, bend, lift & grab/clean necessary items/instruments 10.00%
