Job Summary: - Performs hospital patient account functions including, reconciling accounts, claims generation, and/or paper claims submission, third party payer follow-up, claims denial and credit balance resolution. - Reviews, monitors and resolves issues involving fee schedule/contractual allowances, and calculations required for hospital patient account management. Skills/Educational Requirements: - Must have high school diploma or equivalent. - Must meet or exceed hospital and regulatory agency training requirements. - Basic Computer Skills - Entry level position. Ability to multi-task and problem solve - Requires ability to learn and master understanding of patient accounts processes and regulations. - Possesses creativity, high energy, organizational and problem solving skills. - Maintain patient confidentiality is a must.
