Shift Hours:
Per-Diem 0.10 FTE

Day shift; 1-2 weekends per month required, holiday rotation, weekdays as available
Job Description:
Responsible for assisting with patient care under the direct supervision of a Physical, Occupational, and/or Speech Therapist. Duties may include providing physical assistance with patients during treatment sessions, assisting with self-cares, and bringing necessary equipment to therapist. Other tasks include sanitizing equipment/treatment areas, completing projects as assigned by managers, managing telephone calls, communicating with patients and staff, and scheduling for the department. The scheduling component of this job involves work in the electronic medical record setting up therapist schedules for the following day.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional post-secondary classes in medical field or future career path in medical field preferred

Strong computer skills

Strong communication skills

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Prior experience with direct patient care preferred
